Great news from quality department!

SGS has certified TPA to be TPED (Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive) compliant. Some of the qualifications for certification include welder operator qualification, welding process audit (in accordance with ISO15614: Specification and qualification of welding procedures for metallic materials), and RT Certification – Level II (in accordance with EN473 Qualification and certification of NDT personnel - General principles). TPA is now one of the few TPED certified cylinder valve suppliers in China.

TPED is an essential certification in order for products to enter the European market. The certification contributes to eliminate trade protectionism among the member states. This directive ensures the free movement of transportable pressure equipment containing dangerous goods within the European Community by road and rail. TPED applies to the design, manufacture and conformity assessment of transportable pressure equipment, such as cylinders and valves.
